Hello! My name is Mrs. Soutar and I am an Exceptional Child Resource teacher here at Hickory Ridge Elementary School. This is my second year of teaching and I am so thrilled to have the opportunity to help students learn and grow through small group instruction. I have always been passionate about working with children and I am so happy that my path led me here. 

I graduated from The Ohio State University with a BS in Early Childhood Education. Following graduation, I attended Capital University to obtain my teaching license in grades PK-3. I am married, and a mom to a 2-year old girl, Lily. We are currently expecting a baby boy in September! When I am not at school, I enjoy boating, cheering on the Buckeyes, and spending time with family.
