Ms. Katie Parham
Welcome! My name is Ms. Parham and this is my 10th year teaching K-5 Music. I have spent 9 of my 10 years in Cabarrus County and have worked at multiple schools. I am so excited to be entering my 3rd year at Hickory Ridge Elementary!
I graduated from Western Carolina University with a BSEd degree in Music Education. My college band experience led me to many amazing opportunities, including performing in concert with Keith Urban, marching in the Rose Parade on New Years Day, and being a part of the Carolina Panther's Purrcussion Drumline.
Music has been such a big part of my life and I can't wait to learn and grow with all my students! When I'm not at HRES, I spend my time on the band field at Hickory Ridge High School as the Blue Regiment Percussion Coordinator!
