Miss Bergen

Hi! My name is Cyndi Bergen and I am so excited to be your child's 2nd grade teacher this year at Hickory Ridge Elementary!  I graduated from Cedarville University with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and a minor in Spanish. This is my 26th year of teaching and I have taught 1st-5th grades. 

I was born and raised in a small town in northwestern New Jersey and my family moved to North Carolina while I was in college. I have an older sister and younger brother.  When I'm not teaching, I enjoy listening to music, scrapbooking, riding my bike, hiking, and kayaking. Some of my favorite foods and places to shop include Starbucks, Chick-fil-A, and Amazon. 

I am committed to creating a classroom environment that inspires children and fosters a love of learning. I believe that all children can learn, and my goal is to help each child reach his or her full potential. Please feel free to contact me if you ever have a question or concern.
