PSD leaders interviewed some talented candidates and are happy to announce Ryan Heistand has been chosen as the new  deputy principal, beginning in the 2023-2024 school year. 

The deputy principal is an administrative position supporting the principal with all aspects of school leadership. There are five deputy principal positions being hired at our five biggest elementary schools. 

We are thrilled to have Mr. Heistand join Purdy's team. He has experience as a leader in the Peninsula School District including five years as a teacher and the Dean of Students at Artondale Elementary. Mr. Heistand is going to be a positive addition to Purdy Elementary.
