On Monday, November 8, we celebrated the ribbon-cutting of Evergreen Elementary School and hosted community open house tours.
On September 7, 2021, the brand new Evergreen Elementary School facility opened for the start of the 2021-2022 school year. The completion was a full year ahead of the timeline originally proposed in the bond.
The project was considered a school replacement project, as the new school building was constructed adjacent to the existing school, allowing students to attend on-site while the new school was being built.
These projects are possible thanks to the bond passed by voters, approving school construction to address extreme elementary school overcrowding and other emergency infrastructure needs. Thank you, voters!
