Celebrating Juneteenth: A Commemoration of Freedom

At Peninsula School District, we honor Juneteenth as a time to celebrate the achievements and contributions of Black Americans to our nation. It is a day to reflect on our shared history, educate ourselves, and promote unity within our community.

Remember! No School on June 19 and Half-Day on June 21

There will be no school and district offices will be closed on Wednesday, June 19, in observance of Juneteenth. The last day of school is Friday, June 21, which will be a half-day for all students. We encourage you to check with your child's school for specific dismissal times.
