30 years in education comes to a close
Carolyn Clements is a newly retired education professional with 30 years of experience in the field. From her first job assisting five 4th/5th grade teachers who had unexpectedly high class numbers at Howard to her last job as an ESOL instructor at Buena Vista Spanish Immersion, Carolyn has had the pleasure of impacting the lives of many 4J students through her work. She will miss teaching, learning, and laughing with my ESOL students and working with my caring, creative ESOL colleagues! She was in a great school with great families and will miss teaching and working with them every day. Her next big adventure is to take time for reading, writing, art, music, spending time outdoors and gardening, cooking, learning to quilt, reading in Spanish and renewing language skills, and taking interesting trips. Carolyn may do some tutoring and volunteer at Womenspace again. Congratulations, Carolyn!
