4J Retirees: Michael Stasack

32 years in education comes to a close

Michael Stasack is a newly retired education professional with 32 years of experience in the field. From his first job as a fifth-grade French teacher at Fox Hollow French Immersion to his last job as a fourth-grade teacher with the Eugene Online Academy, Michael has had the pleasure of impacting the lives of many 4J students through his work. Michael will miss all of the joy and creativity that comes from working together with students and staff. His next big adventure includes downsizing, starting a non-profit, writing grants and a musical, managing an art collection, traveling to the ancestral homelands, cooking, gardening, inventing, designing clothing, building furniture, sculpting, drawing, painting, volunteering, learning to quilt, playing pétanque into his 100’s, being a student, listening and relaxing a bit. Aloha, mahalo, sláinte, and santé! Congratulations, Michael!
