Bienvenue!  Welcome to Ms. LaPatriello's page. We use a Learning Management System called Canvas, where you will find the most current course information and resources. There is link on the HRHS home page to get you there. Please note that new courses will not be published until JUST before the semester starts! Should you have any questions before then, just reach out to me and I will help however I can.

I grew up in New Jersey and graduated from Montclair State University in 2011 with my BA in French Education.  I moved to Concord, NC shortly after graduating.  I lead a simple, happy life and I am proud to say that I am working in my dream career. I am married and have three cats. I have been teaching for Cabarrus County Schools since 2013 and was a substitute teacher in 2012. I have also been a curriculum writer for the county and have recently taken a role as the county-wide French PLC's co-facilitator. I'm also the de-facto tech guru of the World Languages department. My latest add-on is Mythology as of Spring 2021, which was an interest of mine growing up as well. I hope to bring ancient stories alive in modern times and make them accessible to today's teens!

I am available to students before (6:30-7:00) or after school (2:30-3 or later for special situations) this semester; please contact me at LEAST 24 hours ahead of time to ensure availability. If a student does not tell me they are coming, I may not be available at the designated time.
