Welcome to Science!
I am originally from Maryland but grew up in Concord, NC and graduated from Northwest Cabarrus High School. I attended University of North Carolina at Charlotte and graduated with a B.A. in Special Education. I began my teaching career in the EC department here at Hickory Ridge and then made the transition into the Science department several years ago. This is my tenth year teaching at Hickory Ridge. I am also the Yearbook Advisor and working on my National Board Certification. I live just outside of Concord with my husband (Danny), our two daughters (McKenzie and Brooklyn), and our son (Hunter). In my spare time, I enjoy crafting, reading, spending time with my family and traveling.
