Welcome Back! 

The 2021-2022 school year is my first year teaching at Hickory Ridge High School and I am excited to be here! I have fifteen years of experience teaching in Ohio and six years in a variety of positions with CCS. I have previously taught in grades 3rd - 12th, but I am excited about returning to the high school level. I am married, we have two children and a sweet little mini labradoodle. My son is a freshman at Chapel Hill and my daughter currently attends Cox Mill High School. I am originally from Cleveland, Ohio, and moved to Charlotte eight years ago. We are adjusting well and certainly do not miss the snow. Outside of school, my family enjoys spending time together, whether it is at a concert, the beach, or cheering on our favorite Ohio sports teams! GO BROWNS! I am excited about getting to know my new students and watching them grow both academically and socially. 

We will be using Canvas as our online curriculum platform. You can access Canvas from the Hickory Ridge High School homepage located on the left-hand side under quick links. Once you click on Canvas, you will see your classes. In addition, in the event we need to meet virtually, it will be via Teams. The Teams link will be located in your Module on our Canvas classroom page. I love to laugh and have fun while learning. We are going to have a great year!
