Mr. Peter Kim

Welcome Hickory Ridge students and parents to a new school year! I am extremely excited to join the Bull family this year as your newest administrator. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry with a concentration in Marketing and Business from Appalachian State University in 2007. Upon graduation, I worked overseas in Seoul, South Korea at a private language academy and found my passion for teaching. I began my career in Cabarrus County as a Biology teacher at Northwest Cabarrus High School in 2012. Over the past 10 years, I worked as a teacher and transitioned into Career & Technical Education (CTE) as both Work-Based Learning Coordinator and CTE Coordinator at NCHS and Concord High School. Most recently, I earned a Master of School Administration degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

I have an amazing wife, a daughter in 4^th grade (Elisa), and a son in Pre-K (Sammy). In my free time, I enjoy traveling, watching sports, playing golf, and spending time with friends and family.

I will be the administrator serving our 9^th grade students this year.
