    Winter 2017 Service Project - "Bright Blessings"

    This holiday season help us help babies in need. We are looking for donations for Bright Blessings Bless-A-Baby program. Please visit the link below to visit the Sign-Up Genius list of items in need. Select an item (or a few!) and bring them in to Mrs. Pleasants' room #603 from December 8th through December 14th.

    Thanks for visiting our site! We hope that you'll join us every month to celebrate the many cultures represented by our student body. 
     

    Multicultural club is open to any HRHS student who is interested in bettering our community & willing to promote diversity. Multicultural club aims to educate, interact and raise awareness & teach tolerance to the students of HRHS & the surrounding community. Our goal is to create an atmosphere that embraces differences but is not limited to race, age, gender, physical abilities/qualities & ethnicities.


    Goals/Objectives

    1. To debunk stereotypes and prejudices

    2. To explore ethnic diversity

    3. To emphasize the importance of accepting others despite our differences.


    Meetings

    • MCC meets once a month during BULL time in Ms. Pleasants' room 603. Refer to the HRHS BULL time calendar for meeting dates.

    Membership Requirements

    • Nobody will be turned away due to race, gender, religion, disability, age, sexual orientation or economic status.

    • Students are encouraged to maintain a C average, be responsible citizens and and serve as a role model for their peers.

    • Students that are suspended will be put on probation until the situation is resolved between the administration, faculty sponsor, member & parents.
