Superintendent of Schools Brett Provenzano and Assistant Superintendent for Business Matt Stevens presented the instruction and total budget draft #1 with revenues to the Board of Education at its Board of Education Meeting, March 20. Eight Odyssey of the Mind teams will represent Fairport at the New York State Finals Tournament on April 7 in Binghamton, N.Y. after placing first at the Greater Rochester Regional Odyssey of the Mind Tournament in March.

Fairport Odyssey of the Mind captured 6 first place finishes, and 8 of 27 State Qualifying slots.

Fairport High School’s Drama Club presents Hello, Dolly!, March 15-17 at the Fairport High School auditorium. Tickets are $8 and are available at Wegmans in advance, or 30 minutes prior to the start of the show at the door.

The Fairport Central School District’s Annual K-12 District Art Show kicks off March 8 with the opening night from 4-6 p.m., with the show continuing through March 20 at the Perinton Square. The annual event celebrates the work of Fairport’s K-12 student artists.
