About Our School

Mission:

Dudley School is a family of students, staff, and parents dedicated to the development of the whole person through emotional, physical, academic and social growth.

Facilities:

Dudley School opened in September 1971. Major renovations were completed in 2000. The school includes 40 classrooms, a library media center, an art room, a music room, a large gym,  math and reading rooms, speech therapy rooms, two resource rooms, computer lab, Primary Project room, health suite/nurse's office, psychologists' offices, social workers' offices, cafeteria, theater-in-the-round, main office area, playground and playing fields.

Congratulations to our Fairport High School music students who were selected to participate in the New York State Conference All-State earlier this month. Our Fairport students performed solos at NYSSMA Solo Festivals and received perfect scores in order to be selected in this highly competitive experience comprised of the highest level of musicianship for high school students in New York State. A new chapter of of technology education begins at Johanna Perrin Middle School as students take their first classes in the school’s new Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) wing! The new spaces are the culmination of years of design, collaboration and construction as part of the voter-approved Fairport Forward 2019 Capital Improvement Project.

The Fairport Central School District is proud to announce that through the combined efforts of our elementary school students, families and staff, the District and our partners at Crazy Dog T-Shirts collected $11,000 in donations for UR Medicine’s Golisano Children’s Hospital!

Students at Northside, Dudley, Brooks Hill and Jefferson Avenue collected donations at school and online this past October as part of the annual Fall Crawl.

Congratulations to Fairport High School students Milo A., Helena D., Declan W., Eamon G. and Adrienne Q.! All five musicians were chosen for the 2023-2024 Hochstein Youth Symphony Orchestra, the music school’s highest-level student ensemble.
