Superintendent Provenzano

Brett Provenzano has served as the superintendent for the Fairport Central School District since July 2015.

He began his educational career as a social studies teacher at Newark CSD for one year. He continued as a social studies teacher and lead teacher for seven years at Pittsford CSD. While teaching, he also coached a variety of sports, including football, softball and basketball. He also was an assistant principal for Webster CSD for three years before coming to Fairport in 2005 as the principal of Johanna Perrin Middle School where he served before becoming the assistant superintendent for instruction, from 2014 through June 2015.

Provenzano and his family – including his wife and three sons – reside in Fairport and his sons currently attend Fairport schools.

Fairport musicians perform at highly competitive All-State Conference

Congratulations to our Fairport High School music students who were selected to participate in the New York State Conference All-State earlier this month. Our Fairport students performed solos at NYSSMA Solo Festivals and received perfect scores in order to be selected in this highly competitive experience comprised of the highest level of musicianship for high school students in New York State. A new chapter of of technology education begins at Johanna Perrin Middle School as students take their first classes in the school’s new Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) wing! Annual Fall Crawl raises $11,000 for Golisano Children’s Hospital

The Fairport Central School District is proud to announce that through the combined efforts of our elementary school students, families and staff, the District and our partners at Crazy Dog T-Shirts collected $11,000 in donations for UR Medicine’s Golisano Children’s Hospital!

Students at Northside, Dudley, Brooks Hill and Jefferson Avenue collected donations at school and online this past October as part of the annual Fall Crawl.
