Ms. Lindsey Freeman

Hello everyone - welcome to Ms. Freeman's class! This is my fifth year teaching. My teaching experience has been in 3rd and 4th grades. I graduated from East Carolina University with a license in Elementary Education (K-6) and a license in K-12 Reading.

I am excited about a great year here at the Rock! Oh, the places you'll go on your second grade adventure! Second grade is an exciting adventure with lots of growth and learning. I hold high expectations for all students and hope to help your child meet his or her goals this school year. Kid, you will move mountains! Building positive relationships with students and their families is very important to me. I strive to create a welcoming, all-inclusive classroom, where students feel they can be themselves and let their individual light shine. 

I was born and raised in Mt. Pleasant, N.C. and I am thrilled to be a part of the school system in which I grew up attending. I am a dog mom to Willow Mae, a Parti colored Cockapoo! She has quite a sassy personality and loves to play fetch. When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my fiancé, family and friends. My fiancé and I are getting married in December! I also enjoy all things Fall (pumpkin is my jam!), cooking or baking, watching football (Go Panthers!), hockey (Go Caps!), basketball (Go Tarheels!) and catching up on all of my favorite TV shows. 

I am looking forward to a very exciting and successful school year!
