I am happy to be entering my 29th year in education and my 13th year teaching! I came to "The Rock" in 1997 when it opened as a Kindergarten Teacher Assistant. I have an Associates Degree from Rowan Cabarrus Community College. I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2009 with a Bachelor's in Elementary Education. I have taught Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades. I enjoy reading and spending time with my family, especially my 12-year old granddaughter, 8-year old grandson, and my 18 month old puppy Oliver!
