Hi! Welcome to Mrs. Edwards' page!  I teach the K-3 Living and Learning self-contained class!  I am a graduate of UNC-Charlotte with a degree in Special Education. This is year twenty-four as a classroom teache; fifteen of those years have been spent at Rocky River.     Edwards’ Schedule

     

    7:45 – 8:15 – Arrival, put up things, bathroom, morning work, breakfast

    8:15 – 9:15 – Morning Meeting (Calendar, Communication, Writing and Reading skills)

    9:20 - 9:50 - Recess

    10:00 - 10:45 – Center Time– Focusing on IEP goals 

    10:45 - 11:00 – Clean up/Restroom

    11:00 - 11:30 – Morning Circle Time

    11:35 - 12:00 – Lunch

    12:00 - 12:30 – Technology Time/Restroom

    12:30– 1:15 – Theme Circle - Lessons addressing Extended Content Standards

    1:15 - 1:30 – Extended Content activities

    1:30 - 2:00 – Recess

    2:00 - 2:15 – Snack and restroom

    2:25 - 2:45 – Talk Time (communication building activities)

    2:45 - 3:00 – Dismissal
