Standard Six: Program Accountability
The LEA implements, monitors, and evaluates the local AIG program and plan to ensure that all programs and services are effective in meeting the academic, intellectual, social, and emotional needs of gifted learners.
Parent, Teacher, Student Feedback:
We encourage open communication with parents. All AIG Specialists are available to answer questions by phone or email. County-wide AIG plans are developed every three years. During plan renewal, parents and students are encouraged to complete surveys to provide feedback regarding the AIG Program. By asking students to share their thoughts on interest surveys and during discussions, CCS AIG Specialists are better able to address students' needs and interests.
