Overview

NC Virtual Public School (NCVPS) provides students an opportunity to take classes online that may not be available at HRHS and have a minimum GPA of 2.8. NCVPS is a distance learning option available on campus in our YES Center or at home. NCVPS has high expectations and students should plan to put forth the same effort they would in a seated class on our campus; 80 minutes a day! A successful NCVPS student is one who has the following qualities: an independent learner.

• Strong reader
• Motivated
• Successful in NCHS classes
• Has home internet access

Observers have limited permissions that allow them to view what is happening in a course without interrupting the flow of daily course communication.
