Mr. Gray Hoover

I graduated from the University of North Carolina with a Biology degree and began my career with Cabarrus County Schools in 1995 as a bus monitor and driver for EC transportation before becoming an individual student assistant.  Since 2008, I have been a classroom assistant at Hickory Ridge High School in the Learning Connections centralized program.  As an assistant I help students with high functioning autism become successful by providing academic support in either small group or individual settings in all areas of the curriculum.  

In addition to my classroom duties, I help in the larger school by driving activity busses for field trips and sporting events, assisting administration with school dismissal as a bus lot monitor, and  supporting the custodial staff. I also enjoy attending sporting events and play performances.

I live in Concord and serve my community as a youth leader and Sunday school teacher at Concord ARP Church.
