Hello!

Welcome! The 2022-2023 school year will be my 12th year teaching at Hickory Ridge High School and I anticipate another great year ahead!  I'm planning for another successful year of getting to know the students and helping them refine their academic skills as we build relationships and explore Civics & Psychology in the classroom!

I am both a Harrisburg resident, and a product of Cabarrus County Schools, so I am very familiar with our community.  I am also a graduate of The University of North Carolina at Charlotte, with a BA in History.  You can often find me supporting the Ragin' Bulls at many school events, from the artsy to the sporty.  In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife and dog, reading, watching movies, and maintaining one of Harrisburg's finest lawns.

  • The 2022-2023 AP Psychology Exam will take place in May at 12pm.  Students who agree to take this exam will be considered exempt from the class final exam, but still may elect to take it in effort to raise their grade.
