Mrs. Wendy Tomberlin Biggers
I am a Cabarrus County native! I was a student at Bethel Elementary, Hartsell Middle, and Central Cabarrus High. After graduating college and over a 10-year period, I taught Physical Science, Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, and AP Calculus at these schools: Watauga High, JN Fries Middle, Mount Pleasant High, and Concord High. I became an Instructional Technology Facilitator in 2002 at Central Cabarrus High. When Hickory Ridge High opened in 2007, I transferred to open a new school. I have been a part of Cabarrus County Schools since 1975 and look forward to the years to come.
My strength is designing curriculum - especially for adolescent and adult learners. I am encouraged and excited by changes in instructional practices that incorporate technology. I like the collaborative spirit pedagogy has embraced in recent years. My goal is to provide HRHS teachers with instructional and technical support to make their jobs educating our students easier and more rewarding.
I enjoy the beach, physical fitness, learning new things, all kinds of music, and spending time with the ones I love.
