I am a native of Biloxi, Mississippi. I have taught in Biloxi Public School District for the past twenty-three years. This will begin my twenty-ninth year as an educator and I am very excited to teach your child!

In my classroom, I hope to create an inviting environment so that each student can reach his/her full potential.  My goal is that every student will learn each of the Social Studies objectives outlined in the Mississippi Curriculum Frameworks through meaningful lessons and captivating activities.  I know with my students’ effort and their parents’ guidance we can achieve this goal!

When I am not at school, I spend my time with my family (which now includes our puppy, Moe).  I enjoy sports, photography, leisure reading, and creating memories of my family.
