Hello! My name is Harper Panter. This is my fifth year at Biloxi High, and it is most certainly the best place to be! I will be teaching English II, as well as English II honors.

A main priority in English II is preparing for the State Test in May. To prepare, we will be exploring some great literary texts, such as Of Mice and Men, Julius Caesar, The Odyssey, A Midsummer Night's Dream, and a collection of short stories and excerpts from other texts. Students will also workshop their writing skills in the areas of informative, argumentative, and narrative writing. During this year, I hope that students will learn how to critically think about themes and connect the things we read about to their real lives as well as experiences outside my classroom.
