My name is Engrid Barnes, and I am proud to be an Indian.  I am a native of Biloxi.  I am a graduate of Biloxi High School, received a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi, and a Masters in the Art of Teaching from William Carey College.  I am certified to teach 4-8 and Special Education.  This will be my twenty-second year as an educator in Biloxi Public School district.  I have a true passion for making a difference in the lives of others, which is why I became a teacher.  I also hold the role of Transition Coordinator for the district.  Personally, I am married and the proud parent of two wonderful children, Kevin and Desirae, who are both currently attending the University of South Alabama.
