Hello! Welcome to my page. I am excited for another great year at Biloxi High School. This is my fifth year teaching English II, a state-tested subject. In my class, we will prepare ourselves for the English II state test which students will take in the spring. The test will assess students on their understanding of English 10th grade standards that we will be learning at levels of rigor throughout the year. Standards include but are not limited to: central idea, theme, point of view, characterization, author's purpose and perspective, media integration, etc. I am a sponsor for three different clubs including Biloxi Beta Club, Biloxi Pride Club, and Junior Class Sponsor.

A little bit about myself: I grew up in the Hoosier State before moving to Mississippi in 2015. I attended the University of Mississippi for both my undergraduate and graduate studies. I am currently in the process of becoming nationally board certified in English Language Arts.

Tutoring

I am available for afterschool tutoring Tuesday and Thursday from 3:15-4:10. Please have your student fill out the afterschool tutoring form on their Google Classroom page.
