Coach,  2006 Inductee

This individual may always be remembered  as the “COACH” of Warsaw Central School.  He arrived in Warsaw in 1949 and things have never been the same.

He has coached football, wrestling, tennis, baseball, basketball, and track and field.  He is responsible for starting our historic wrestling program in 1949.  He built the Warsaw football program into the dominant team from 1949 through 1960.  His tennis teams were nearly unbeatable through the 1980s.

Respected as a teacher, a coach and a friend by our entire community, it is truly an understatement to say, “Coach Davis is one of the most significant people in Warsaw sports history."
