    Class of 2009, Athlete, 2019 Inductee

    This member of the Class of 2009 is being inducted as an athlete. Kelly earned 12 varsity letters as a member of the basketball, cheerleading, volleyball, and softball teams. She was a three-time captain and was recognized as an LCAA All-Star on seven occasions. She was a four-year varsity volleyball player where she led the team in assists. The teams amassed 56 wins, including an LCAA championship in 2008. That team compiled a 18-2 record.

    Kelly was a five-year starter for the softball team. Those teams accumulated an 88-17 record. She struck out 937 batters, and was named to the Section V All-Tournament team three times, including being named the Tournament MVP in 2007. Kelly earned All-State hours three times, and she was the LCAA Division III Player of the Year in 2007, 2008, and 2009. She threw four no-hitters and one perfect game. Kelly had a career batting average of .408 and collected 118 RBIs. She completed her career with an ERA of 1.15. In her last game as a Tiger, Kelly set a Section V finals record by striking out 22 batters.
