Russell Ryan

 Class of 1983, Athlete, 2016 Inductee

This three-sport athlete earned 11 varsity letters while playing football, baseball and basketball. Russell played four years on the varsity baseball and football teams.  During his football career, Russell was a two-time team captain and was selected as the team MVP in his junior year. The team won two LCAA Division II championships and lost in the sectional finals in 1982.

He played three years on the varsity basketball team and was the leading rebounder and second-highest scorer on teams that won LCAA Division II championships. Russell was a key player on the 1981-1982 Hall of Fame basketball team that went undefeated in the regular season. He was selected to the Section V All-Tournament Team as a junior and was the team MVP as a senior.
