Ian Paddock
Class of 2009, Athlete, 2019 InducteeThis 2009 WCS graduate is considered to be the greatest wrestler in Warsaw history. He accumulated 268 wins in six varsity seasons. Ian was a six-time LCAA champion – the only wrestler to ever win six championships. He’s a six-time Section V champion, and a five-time Section V Super Sectional champion. Ian was a five-time NYS wrestling medalist and a three-time NYS champion. In 2008, Ian was named Most Outstanding Wrestler at the NYS Championships. That same year, Ian was selected as the All-Greater Rochester Athlete of the Year. Ian was a six-time USA wrestling All-American, and was a National Champion at 119 pounds in 2007. As a senior, Ian was ranked first in the nation and was selected as a member for Team USA’s Dream Team All-Star Classic. Ian and his brother had the unique honor of winning Warsaw’s first NYS Wresting Championships on the same evening in 2007.
