This athlete earned six varsity letters in football, basketball, and track. He was a rare athlete who was able to excel in all three sports.
In the 1990 football season, Damion rushed for 1001 yards and scored 13 touchdowns. Highlights of the season included a 96-yard touchdown run and a single-game rushing mark of 261 yards. As as senior on the track team, he set school records in the 400 hurdles, 110 high hurdles, 4x100 relay, and the pentathlon.
A three-year starter on the basketball team, Damion was selected twice as an LCAA All-Star. During his senior season, he earned team MVP honors, Section V All-Tournament Team recognition, and was chosen to play in the Ronald McDonald game. He set marks for the most points in a season (525), most rebounds in a season (297), points per game (23.9), rebounds per game (13.9), and single-game scoring (42).
