The Putnam County R-1 School District will be hosting their annual Parent/Teacher Conferences on Thursday, October 20th. How the conferences are conducted changes between the Elementary and the Middle School Building. Instead of the teacher handing out specific time slots for individual parents to come discuss their student, all of the Middle School and High School Staff Members are located in the High School Gym. Parents are able to pick up their student's report card in the High School Commons and then travel into the gym to discuss those grades with the teachers. Each teacher will have a table labeled with his/her name on it. The parents are welcome to visit with each of their student's teachers.
It is very important for parents to come into the school and discuss their student's progress with the teachers and staff members. Each one of my students deserves to be in the spotlight. So I ask that all parents please come to Parent/Teacher Conferences and bring your student along. Thank you, Mrs. Jenna Sivetts
