Some might say that teachers have it easy because students are only in class from 8:10 to 3:19.  However, a teacher’s responsibilities and commitment doesn’t stop when the bell rings.  They have so much more to get done.  I like to refer to a famous quote by Ben Franklin, “by failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail.”  As an educator and coach it’s important to let the student/athletes know that you are prepared when they enter the door.  I believe that quality plans will lead to solid execution.   However, being flexible and having open lines of communication are important too.  All in all, balance is the key.  Hope everyone has a successful spring!
