Tomorrow’s leaders were honored on Jan. 10 as 94 students were inducted into the Fairport High School chapter of the National Honor Society (NHS). The ceremony took place in the Fairport High School auditorium and included speeches, candle lighting, introductions and the NHS pledge. National Honor Society is an organization to honor students who demonstrate excellence in the areas of scholarship,

Safety Update – Dec. 18, 2018
Fairport Central School District received a report last night of a concerning social media post by a Minerva DeLand student. District administration immediately began investigating this report alongside Monroe County Sheriff deputies. Following a thorough investigation, we have concluded there is no active threat toward individuals and/or the school. We will continue to work with the student and family to address this situation.
Whole Child Community Conversation keynote address
Dr. Robert Dillon, educator and author, provided the keynote address at the Whole Child Community Conversation on Nov. 29.
Dr. Dillon’s passionate speech focused on how great schools can further their impact on students and the global community. He discussed what he feels are tenets of educational success including entrepreneurial spirit,

Whole Child Community Conversation to be held Nov. 29
Fairport Central School District invites you to be a part of shaping the future of the district. The Whole Child Community Conversation will take place on Thursday, Nov. 29 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in Fairport High School Room 512. This event will help the district define 21st-century learning in the schools and how it will impact students’
