Mrs. Sarah Allen

My name is Sarah Allen, and I am proud to be a Rocky River Roadrunner!! I am from Western New York, but moved south to enjoy the beautiful sunny weather! I began teaching 1st Grade in 2006 and continued on to teach grades 2nd-5th with 3rd grade being my favorite and where I spent a majority of my years in the classroom! As a classroom teacher, I had a reputation for bringing the joy factor into my lessons while holding high expectations for all of my students. I strongly believe that students need to be invested in what they're doing and there's no better way to get them "hooked" than by having fun and being engaged in the work. I am excited to share this passion with the amazing 2nd and 3rd grade teachers and students as their grade level MCL (Multi-Classroom Leader)! Aside from being a teacher, I am a lover of iced coffee, books, dogs, and spending time with my husband and our two daughters, Grace (6) and Emma (2). Here's to a year full of fun, growth, and lots of books!!
