In Ceramics students will explore basic handbuilding and Wheel-thrown processes. Students will gain an understanding for fundamental clay properties, tools, vocabulary and safety throughout the course of the semester.  All projects will incorporate a cultural connection or historical context as it relates to the field of ceramics.
