Here at Hickory Ridge Middle School, we take pride in being Mavericks.

A Maverick is someone who is not afraid to go their own way. They’re an independent thinker who analyzes information and makes connections. They take action toward achieving their goals and bettering themselves and their community. They rise to meet challenges as a team by valuing different perspectives and building bridges with perseverance and compassion. Our Mavericks do it all while pursuing their personal bests in academics, extracurriculars, and interactions with others.
