Hello there! I am excited to be your teacher this year. This is my 12th year teaching, and my fifth year at Hickory Ridge Middle School. This year I am teaching 8th Math and 8th grade Math 1. I also enjoy teaching Math 2 and coaching the Speech and Debate as well as Quiz Bowl. This year, I will be coaching Quiz Bowl with Mrs. Raines and Math Counts with Mrs. Rose.

I graduated from UNC Charlotte with a degree in Middle Grades Education with certifications in Math and Social Studies. I am married (19 years!) and have three wonderful boys - Levi, Miles and Benjamin. I look forward to working with you this year.
