Welcome Mavericks! I am so excited to be joining the Hickory Ridge Middle School family this year. I will be teaching 7th grade ELA and SS this school year and cannot wait to get started. This will be my 17th year in education. I have spent most of my career in upper elementary as well as spending two years as a Media Coordinator. I am currently a graduate student at UNC Greensboro and will graduate with my Masters in Library and Information Science in May 2023. My husband (who is a high school art teacher) and I have one son named Griffyn. Together we have a cat named Freya and two hermit crabs, Bluey and Crabbie.
I cannot wait to learn more about all of you and have a wonderful year!
