Science: 

I assign homework on an average of once per week.  Students should review the information in their science notebooks on the other days.  All assignments are on Canvas.  It is important for all assignments to be submitted in Canvas on time.  I encourage my students to be organized and to keep up with their assignments by utilizing their agendas daily.  

Math: 

ALEKS- You will have a weekly ALEKS (online Math program) assignment. You will be required to master 10 topics every week. The week will run from Monday – Sunday (11:59 pm). This will be considered a homework assignment. These assignments will begin once we have completed the Initial Knowledge Check in class. This may be subject to change slightly throughout the school year.

Math Homework- Homework is due on the assigned due date. All assignments will be completed and submitted in Canvas.  You can expect math homework 4 days per week on average (sometimes more, sometimes less).  You should expect some math homework over the weekend at some point.  You will ALWAYS be expected to SHOW YOUR WORK!  This allows me to see where you are making mistakes, if any.  You are responsible for writing down the assignments in your agenda every day.  All assignments and due dates will be listed on the board in the front of the room and on Canvas.
