My name is Maritza Martinez, and I am the Family Advocate for Rocky River Elementary School. I would like to welcome you to the Roadrunner Family.

 

As a Family Advocate I strive to partner closely with family, students and staff in order to provide support and resources to meet the needs of our families and guarantee the success of our students.

 

Family Advocates provide support in many different areas, including but not limited to:

   -Community resources/referrals

   -Assistance during a family transition

   -Teaming with families and school staff to help support            students in reaching academic and behavior goals.

   -Involving parents and families in school events

 

 If your child needs assistance getting settled or if I can help get your family connected to resources in the community, please do not hesitate to contact me.
