Mrs. Fortuna

My name is Lauren Fortuna and this will be my sixteenth year of teaching and second year teaching at Rocky River Elementary. I am originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  I moved to Charlotte after graduating from Bucknell University to start my teaching career and have been here ever since.  When I am not teaching, I can be found spending time with my three daughters, enjoying an outdoor activity, or reading a good book.

I love working with fourth graders and watching them grow in independence throughout the year.  I look forward to working with you this year.
