Hello Roadrunners!

Hi, My name is Savanna Ziskind and I am so excited to be back here at Rocky River! I graduated from Queens University of Charlotte (GO ROYALS!) with a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Elementary Education. I was born and raised in Mount Pleasant, North Carolina and I am estatic to be back in CCS as a teacher! My husband and I got married two years ago and we just welcomed our daughter to our family in June! We also have two corigs named Olsen and Axel In my free time, I love to spend time with my family and friends or watch football (GO Panthers!) and basketball (GO Heels!) when they are in season. 

Fifth grade is such a wonderful year with so many adventures and fun learning activities to take part in. I teach reading, social studies and science and I am on a team with Ms. Mosby, who teaches math. We are a united team with high expectations regarding academics, organization, and structure. We also believe in effective communication between parents, students, and teachers. Our goal is to help your child strive for his/her personal best in all areas.
