Hello 5th Grader,

Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year! 

 My name is Marcela Mejía. I was born in Colombia. I have been working as an educator for 19 years now. I graduated from Modern Languages and I have a Master's Degree in Science of Education. This is my 4th year at Rocky River. I have been working as a Dual Language teacher in 1st, 2nd and now 5th Grade. 

 I love teaching and hope to pass this love on to each of you. My goal for this year is that you feel support while learning and to develop confidence.

Bienvenidos al Año Escolar 2020-2021

 Mi nombre es Marcela Mejía, nací en Colombia. Llevo trabajando como educadora 19 años. Estudié Lenguas Modernas y tengo una maestría en Ciencias de la Educación. Este es mi cuarto año en Rocky River, he enseñado en grado 1ro, 2do y ahora en 5to.

 Me encanta enseñar y espero transmitir el amor por el aprendizaje en cada uno de ustedes. Mi meta para este año es que ustedes se sientan apoyados en clase, desarrollen confianza y construyan buenas relaciones sociales.
