Mrs. Jill Henderson

Welcome to third grade! 
 
My name is Jill Henderson. I am originally from Charlotte and currently live in Harrisburg. This is my twenty-third-year of teaching.  I have taught first, second, and third grades.  I graduated from Appalachian State University with a BS in Elementary Education. I received my Masters in Literacy at Queens University of Charlotte in 2005. 
I have been married for fifteen years to David, who is a middle/high school technology teacher.  My step-daughter, Anna, is a senior at UNCC. My son is in the immersion program in 7th grade at Winkler.  My daughter, Lyla, is in immersion as a 6th grader at Roberta Road Middle. 
 
I have two sweet dogs who are like family to us!  I enjoy dancing, hiking, and being surrounded by friends and family.  
 
It's going to be a great year in third grade!
