    Carl A. Furr Day Treatment

Carl A. Furr Day Treatment enables children grades K-5 to experience success and embrace their individual talents.  We provide a highly structured environment and use multisensory techniques in small classes to ensure the best educational experience.  Our program is staffed by a Program Manager, Licensed therapist, Qualified Professionals, Licensed Exceptional Children teacher and a teacher assistant.

Our day treatment program provides daily therapeutic activities that help develop socialization, create friendships, promote teamwork and enhance self-esteem.  Activities are based on a child's needs and a include activites such as, yoga, outdoor adventures, creative writing, drama, arts and music, cooking, pet therapy, therapeutic drumming

Students in this program receive individual, group and/or family therapy, therapeutic recreation, stress management, and more.  Developing meaningful and trusting relationships between the adults and children is a focal point of the program. Children who experience success with this therapeutic option can be integrated back into their regular classrooms.
