Mr. Rafael Castillo

My Name is Sr. Rafael Castillo! I’m originally from Colombia (South America), and I’m currently living in Concord. I will be your child’s 2nd Grade Dual Language Spanish teacher. This is my 10th year teaching, and my second one at Furr. I’m very excited to be part of this learning experience, and share the best from my own culture!

I grew up in Bucaramanga, Santander where I attended “La Salle” School for Kindergarten through 7th grade. I then attended “Escuela Normal Superior de Bucaramanga”, graduating from High School  in 2006.

In April of 2014, I graduated with a Bachelors of Spanish and English Education from Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia. In 2017, I graduated with my Masters in Education from Universidad Autónoma de Bucaramanga.
