WELCOME TO ART!
Hello and welcome to art class with Mrs. Wilson! I am happy to be here at Carl A. Furr Elementary! I look forward to teaching the students a variety of techniques and styles in the art room! My main goal is to bring out their creative side by using the Elements of Art and Principles of Design.
About me
I attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and graduated in 2008 with a B.A. in Art. I taught in Union County Public Schools for five years and finally made the move to Cabarrus County Schools in 2013. I enjoy creating art at home including drawing, painting, scrapbooks and mixed media. I have two sons Dylan and Keagan who keep my schedule busy! I can't wait to get to know your kids and encourage their love of art!
